Bon Appetit.  On the main road.  One of Cape Town's top 100 restaurants. 

The Meeting Place:  On the main road.  Separate breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.

Salty Sea Dog: Situated at  the waterfront. Known for it's seafood dishes.

Bertha's: An excellent view  over the waterfront and has an extensive menu.

The Black Marlin.  The best view over False Bay. Enjoy your meal while watching the whales.

Out on the Bay

Boat Trips to Cape Point, Seal Island with shark spotting, whale and dolphin watching.  Four types of whale frequent False Bay.

Yachting, scuba diving, game fishing and kayaking are on offer from  various operators.

Bronze Age Art Foundry.  The ideal place to find unusual gifts and collectables.  Sculptures of international and renown South African sculptors are on display.  Tours by arrangement.

Museums and Tours. Simon's Town Museum gives a fascinating insight into the History of Simon's Town.  There is also the Naval Museum and a Toy Museum.  The Heritage Museum covers he Muslim history of Simon's Town.  There are various tours and lectures on offer as well.

Cape Point Vineyards.   Situated very close to Vistas along the road to Noordhoek.  They specialise in Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

Kalk Bay.  A quaint fishing village with restaurants, antique shops and a fish market.  Buy fresh fish at midday when the fishing boats return with their catch.

Spa.   The Delphinus Spa is a two minute walk away and is perfect for a day of pampering, beauty treatments, etc.

Wild Life and Nature

Whales.  Last year there were more whale sightings in False Bay than Hermanus .  Vistas overlooks Glen Cairn Beach where we often see whales from our pool deck.

Walks and Bird Watching . There are lots of beautiful walks and the area is brilliant for keen bird watchers . 

Boulders Penguin Colony.  There is a well established colony of African Jackass penguins at Boulders beach.
